Censoring the Truth in the 9-11 Commission Report: The Sibel Edwards Story

Prior to the release of the report by the 9-11 Commission, the story of Sibel Edwards did get some brief coverage by the media. For example, CBS news ran a story on her credible indictment of the FBI. She testified before the 9-11 Commission and gave some of the most important information the Commission would hear. But she is not mentioned in the report, except in one minor footnote (see footnote 25 at http://www.9-11commission.gov/report/911Report_Notes.htm - or search for "Sibel" yourself at http://www.9-11commission.gov/). We also hear a little from her at http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=04/07/23/1336253. But in general, she and her testimony have been deleted from public discourse. But Sibel Edwards, a credible translator in the FBI, exposes an FBI rife with corruption, that allowed people with known ties to terrorist groups to have access to critical documents or even to take away these documents - and the FBI managers who allowed it to happen have not been punished, but even promoted in at least one case. With this kind of corruption in the Federal Government, giving them more power and more money us the last thing we need for security.
