Miraculous Motion from the Pope

posted Monday, 4 April 2005

THE VATICAN - The Italian newspapers are calling it a divine miracle, while others are still searching for a natural explanation for an unusual phenomenon that occurred today involving strange movement from the body of deceased Pope John Paul II. The alleged miracle occurred today as the Pope appeared to spontaneously roll over, just seconds after the American delegation arrived to show their respects. Former President Bill Clinton was in the delegation and was just approaching the coffin when the miracle took place. "It certainly strengthened my faith," said Clinton.

While some religious figures criticized the inclusion of Bill Clinton in the US delegation of dignitaries sent to honor one of the most spiritual and religious men of this century, a spokesman for Clinton defended his inclusion as a healthy step for religious diversity, and as a chance for the former President to learn a little more about nuns.
