Welcome to Appleton Mystery Photos, Series 2! The contest run by Jeff Lindsay, author of the leading Web page page about Appleton, Wisconsin. The goal was to identify the location of as many of these photos as possible, all taken in or very near Appleton. The contest closed July 15, 2005 with a new winner: Robert Buettner. Robert, winner of our coveted $50 prize, serves our community as a member of the outstanding Grand Chute Fire Department. He is shown below (center) with two of his fellow fire fighters, Robert Olson (left) and Robert Schipper (right), who helped in figuring out the locations of the mystery photos. Congratulations to some of the Fox Valley's finest!

Contest rules were essentially the same as in Series 1.
