At last, CBS News has an article on Skull and Bones, the tiny but extremely powerful secret society that every American should know about. Why care? Because BOTH presidential candidates, President Bush and Senator John Kerry, are members who have made oaths and promises to this group that they refuse to talk about. To whom are they beholden? What issues might be affected by their loyalties? Could there be conflicts of interest when they decide which companies to support, or which countries to overthrow?
Maybe it is just a jolly fraternity whose members innocently propel each other into realms of incredible wealth and power. We all need a few friends lilke that. But since there are secret oaths and pledges involved in membership, shouldn't Americans know?
If you would like to bone up on this issue, an in-depth discussion of Skull and Bones can also be found in Bipartisan Bonesmen by William Jasper. When you vote for President this fall, be sure to choose the Bonesman you feel will do the best job in protecting and advances the interests of the American people (especially the 800 American people in Skull and Bones).
