The Dream of a Socialist European Union in the Americas: George Bush and the FTAA

President Bush is in South America now working with the leaders of other American nations to help fulfill the globalist dream of a union of states, much like the socialistic European Union. It's being pushed as a "free trade" deal to bring prosperity, but free trade does NOT require loss of sovereignty and transfer of power to massive bureacracies with unelected officials from other countries who can impose rules on us. Though dear to the heart of President Bush and his globalist allies, the proposed Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) will be a major step in the loss of American freedom. The problem with free trade deals is that these deals promote the false
belief that tariffs should be tit for tat. All consumers suffer due to the
existing tariffs that drive up the cost of goods for no reason. It is
entirely within the government's power to give all consumers more buying
power, but the government continues to pretend that it is somehow dependent
on foreign powers.
