Controversial Change in Leadership at the John Birch Society

An interesting new Web site, DonFoth.com, provides insights into the recent controversy surrounding leadership of the conservative organization, the John Birch Society. It is located in my town of Appleton, Wisconsin, where I personally know and respect the former CEO, G. Vance Smith, who appears to have been ousted in an irregular procedure that some might view as a coup. I can't judge the accuracy of some of the statements made in the debates and don't grasp all of the politics involved, but if you're interested in that organization, you may wish to look into the matter.
