Is It Really Over?

posted Friday, 5 November 2004

A posting at MegaPundit shows that Ohio citizens in one country really went the extra the extra mile for Bush, giving 110% or more, perhaps much more. According to an AP story,

Franklin County’s unofficial results had Bush receiving 4,258 votes to Democrat John Kerry’s 260 votes in a precinct in Gahanna. Records show only 638 voters cast ballots in that precinct.

Wow, now that's an extra mile effort. Is this just a case of electronic voting gone awry? A case of Deceased Voters for Bush burying the competition, Deceased Voters for Kerry-Edwards? Or did Franklin County voters just have a very busy day?

I'm afraid that the AEIOU Coalition of Election Observers (comprising Albanian, Ethiopian, Iranian, Outer Mongolian, and Ugandan representatives) invited by the Democrats to observe voting in America is going to give us a bad report. Kofi Annan may just have to step in and take over America for a while until we can run an election the right way.
