No Shrimp Left Behind?
The omnibus spending bill just passed by Congress last weekend provides about 388 billion reasons to throw out most of our irresponsible Congress. This classic pork-barrel bill includes a million dollars to be spent on shrimp, leading Senator John McCain to call it the "No Shrimp Left Behind Act." The shrimp may not be left behind, the the taxpayers sure are.

I agree with you 100%. I've been a registered Republican since 1998, and I
was motivated by their fiscal conservatism and small government doctrine.
So now that they have controlled everything for 4 years this is what we
get? I'm no liberal but I voted Democrat for everything except President
this year.
