Michelle Malkin exposes the fact that our immigration officials in the U.S. Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement have pretty much quit working to stop illegal immigration into the United States. See her article, "A Dangerous Immigration Game" from July 22, 2004. The Bureau is part of the Department of Homeland Security and has a vital but completely neglected responsibility in defending our borders. If they aren't doing anything, why should we pay millions for expensive bureaucrats when we can get the same job done by hiring illegal aliens to take their place? And for the top executives who may need skills beyond what we might find in illegal aliens, we can still save big bucks by using the new Off the Top Executive Offshoring Service.
By putting illegal aliens and other foreigners in charge of protecting our borders and halting the flood of illegal aliens, we just might get something done in addition to saving a ton of money. Foreigners in charge of US immigration will have a financial incentive to stem the tide: bribery. By giving them power to stop illegal immigration - except for those willing to pay the going rate for bribes to get in - there will be a bottleneck for many would-be immigrants, and millions of dollars will be restored to the US economy.
Contact your Congressman today and demand that we do something to finally secure our border by throwing out the fools in the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and giving some needy foreigners a chance to cash in and actually get something done. It could make America a safer place.
At a minimum, if the Bureau is going to do absolutely nothing, then their budget should be adjusted accordingly.
every police officer should carry a "throw down" and do what is necessary
to avoid the paper work and aggravation of taking them in only to see them
turned loose.
