Ready for your mandatory mental health screening?

The Bush Administration is pushing mandatory mental health screening of school children, and perhaps eventually all of us. The New Freedom Commission on Mental Health, established by President Bush in 2002, has recommended mental health screening for children and eventually for every American. Now Congress is pursuing an omnibus spending bill with provisions for mental health screening of children. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas proposed an amendment to the bill that would require parental approval for any mental health screening done on children. The bill was defeated by our irresponsible Congressmen who are working hard to turn America into a police state.

Hello, conservatives! Hello, Americans! Anybody left in the land of liberty? Do you understand what can happen when a government assumes the right to force its citizens to be screened for mental health? Guess who the crazies are?
