Resisting the Tidal Wave of Pornography
The Boy Scouts of America, one of the few organizations standing up for the concept of being morally straight in an increasingly perverse world, faces the devastating news of a top official being accused of dealing with child p0rnography. They are right to be pained. Make no mistake, such materials harm society and individuals. Children are abused in the production, and the material is often associated with further abuse by its users. But it´s not just child p0rn that should bother us. Obscene and perverse movies, DVDs, Web sites, etc. are flooding our society, and causing great destruction to the families and loved ones of the users. I have seen how it has torn the lives of good people apart. I urge all of you to tear this stuff out of your lives. Don´t give in to the incredibly addictive p0rn business and the grotesque misinformation it provides about sexuality. They are lies that will twist and destroy your life. Flee it like the plague. Purity and morality is what this society needs desperarately, and those courageous enough to have those as personal values will find self-control, personal peace, and happier relationships that those who give in to the ways of the gutter.
Real men and real women don´t do pornography.
As long as people confuse what the purpose of the first amendment is (to
protect Speech), they'll allow the porn dealers (that's what they are) to
cotinue selling their crap which degrades our society. The framers of the
constitution did not have pornography in mind when they wrote the first
amendment. Remember that the sellers of porn don't do this as a free
speech issue, they're making money off of dealing this garbage, like drug
dealers, only porn is legal. And legal and moral are not equivalent.
