Scaling Up for More War: US Government Prepares for the Draft

The US Government is taking steps to prepare for bringing back the draft, according to a December 21 article from the Associated Press . I see this as a terribly disturbing sign, indicating that the Administration is intent on scaling up our military efforts as the world's unwanted policeman. Iraq may just be a small taste of the disasters yet to come as we trample upon George Washington's plea for America to stay out of "foreign entanglements."

Please write you elected officials in Washington and ask them to oppose efforts to bring back the draft. We need less involvement in futile foreign wars and more efforts to protect our own borders.
