The Iraq Americans Are Dying Ror: Another Brutal Government?

posted Sunday, 25 December 2005
We'd all like to think that Iraq is about to become a shining light of freedom and peace, made possible by the valiant efforts of our troops. I praise our brave and valiant troops, but there is a tragic reality about what they have been asked to fight and die for. That reality is that the new government is becoming a brutal regime running a widespread network of torture chambers to achieve its ends. See the story, "The Iraq Our Soldiers Are Dying For" by Thomas R. Eddlem.
